The client is an agency that organizes indoor and outdoor civil cerimonies and small and medium sized wedding receptions. The brief is to design an inspirational space which is flexible and stimulating in use but which creates an impressive backdrop to the house and a visual link to the outside park.
As the garden is used mainly for weddings when a couple starts their life together I chose curved and soft lines of a labyrinth to represent the flow of life that the newlyweds will spend together.
Soft lines that resemble the pentagram of a musical score.

Get playfully lost together in the labyrinth and find their way out in a light hearted and joyful way.
Three great open spaces within the labyrinth can be used for formal and informal gatherings.
